Thanks harpster - they also look very impressive. Thankfully I found a silverlight graph toolkit which has helped immensely! Now I have the barebones graphs I need to spruce them up in expression blend...a challenge in itself...
As an off point, I'm really impressed with ms visual studio 2010/silverlight/expression blend :eek: it's been a long time since ms have impressed me!

I am seriously thinking about Swithing to MAC platform and only one program that I use on daily (many times per hour) is the only thing keeping me thinking about it.
This program is called Snagit. http://www.techsmith.com/products/snagit/
It a simple but very elegant, quick and practical utility that captures a screen or a region of the screen and enables you to make notes, circles, lines and process the image you have just captured and send it to the clipboard.
It�s not just a printscreen. It actually let�s you edit the image in a very quick and easy way without having to open a specific an editing software to do it. It super quick. Does anybody know Snagit in PC platform and can recommend a similar one on MAC.
If you have a PC and don�t now Snagit download the evaluation and give it a try. you�ll never regret it.

How was the 'room buzz'? I have seen the vid of the presentation and it looked like a good time was had by all.It was my first SuperMeet so the buzz was strong :)
I got to meet a few vendors that I was interested in too.
The folks that put this together gets my thumbs up.
They did a great job and kept all of us in high spirits.
The demo was amazing since I feel the new timeline is ground breaking.
Ive been using FCP since v1 and go as far back as Premiere 2.0 and not Premiere Pro either :)
I welcome this new way of working and hoping Adobe/Avid adopts this for After Effects, Premiere and MC.
I got to meet a few vendors that I was interested in too.

Whenever I buy music whether it is from Itunes or store bought cd,I always back up my iTunes library about once a month onto a cd so if anything goes wrong I always have a hard copy to re-import back into iTunes.

Elements SBM tackles an old problem (small business management) in a new and rather innovative way: by creating a hybrid desktop/web application. The result promises to be a solution that gives users the accessibility of web applications with the power, look, and feel of a desktop application. Features planed for 1.0 (http://www.ntractive.com/site/features/) will include an administrative interface, home screen, calendar, email, in/out, contacts, notes, sales, service, marketing, developer, projects, internet, images, and document modules.
The first installment of Elements SBM will be for Mac OS X, and will feature integration with iChat, Address Book, iPhoto, the Dock, and will support Drag and Drop, amongst others. I bought an ex-demo unit from a Apple reseller in Sydney. Turned up dead. Display turns on for three seconds then disappears. Dodgy gear. Have a search on Amazon, heaps of people are reporting the same problem. It's a shame, read some great reports on the unit but it seems to be a fault worthy of taking the unit off the market...

i just received my gameboy advance from amacgenius :D its in great condition, the reason i got it was so i could use it to get through the boring times in the car/plane or anywhere where i have nothing to do for an extensive amount of time, i always liked the pokemon gameboy games, and i wouldn't mind playing the newer version called firered, i remake of the pokemon red game i used to have along time ago. I don't really need the wireless adapter that comes with it, unless you have absolutely no use for it. I don't really need the box and packaging, as long as it works i'm happy, i am looking to get it for roughly 10-20$ depending on what comes with it (e.i wireless adapter) and if it is fairly used or not. I can trade the 2 (or three) sheets of the apple stickers i have (the ones that are like the stickers that come with the current ones, but just the classic coloured ones)

Ok, I cannot afford an Apple Cinema display, as much as I covet one.
I bought an Asus monitor, calibrated it, and have been using it for about a month and a half. I dislike it! For simple web browsing and stuff it's OK, but for photo editing it sucks. Even just looking at my desktop wallpaper- going from my MBP screen to the Asus screen is awful. Colors are OK (not great, but I can live with it), but it's on the blurry side.
So, can ya recommend a decent monitor with good color and crispness for a relatively low price?
Hubby likes the monitor just fine, so I figured i'd pass it on to him.:D

Otterbox Defender and iSkin Revo are the only two that come with built in protectors. There is the LifeProof case (not released yet) that also has a built in protector and is waterproof too.

And another thing, Safari will not run faster if you wear them but they can be blended in one of those nice blenders. Just make sure you don't breathe the iSmoke that will come from them afterwards.:D

Nothing definitive has been announced. It seems like it has been more of a toy for Apple than anything serious so I wouldn't depend on it long term. I've never liked it personally.

is it possible to hook up the ipad2 to your car and play music off of it? if so, what do i need in order to. thanks
If your car has an AUX input jack on it. If so, connect a cable from your headphone out to AUX in.
If your car has a USB port on it, connect your 30pin to USB connector.
If your car is older and you see neither, you can open up your car stereo to gain access to the rear of the unit and sii if there is a AUX in port there that is just not connected. you can connect a cable to it and snake it out.

you will need to turn off the Device Control to Non controllable device in Capture settings, so you would start FCP recording , then press play off the tape.

the free iTunes giveaway is going to include only bottles of pepsi, diet pepsi, and sierra mist.
Strange that they'd exclude the drink of choice of so many 'puter people, Mountain Dew. What are the odds there are more mtn dews being drunk than any other soda, during iTunes downloads? :)

Airshot looks to be something sending video over 802.11b. Evidently, Macs are not supported.
To that end, just get a good projector with a DVI port, and a Mac-friendly presentation clicker so you don't have to stand by your Powerbook.

I put the screen to other iphone 3g and it works perfectly .
The weird thing is that on the old one it doesnt work only about 2 mm from left to right .
