Caught heavily camouflaged, the prototype reveals the updated model will feature modified bumpers, restyled headlights, and a new rear spoiler.
While the exterior tweaks are relatively minor, the interior is expected to boast a new dashboard and higher quality materials. This should elevate the cabin to XJ standards, while retaining the sporty flair the XK is known for.
Like the facelifted XF-R, the XK-R will likely be powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine with 510 PS (375 kW / 503 hp) and 625 Nm (461 lb-ft) of torque. This should enable the coupe to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds, before hitting a limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
