Lamborghini Madura

Designed by Slavche Tanevski (designer of the Lamborghini Ankonian) a design student at Munich University of Applied Sciences, the Madura is named after an Indonesian island off the northeastern coast of Java that is famous for its bull races.

The design keeps the oragami look that Slavche is known for, yet it's a more workable design then the Ankonian. Slavche says that the car is a proposal for the first hybrid Lamborghini and is scheduled for 2016. It was done as part of the Lamborghini Raw Materials Project headed by Proffessor Dr. Othmar Wickenheiser.

No specs for this design yet, as it still has a long way to go before anything happens with it. I can't say I'm a fan as it's just not really Lambo's style. It reminds me of a Mazda. Engineering wise it's much better than the Ankonian, but the designer makes me wonder again about his engineering knowledge by claiming it's shorter wheel base will improve performance and handling. Quite the opposite my friend.
